Eight People Injured in Car Accident

NORTH PALM SPRINGS - Eight people are hospitalized after a major accident involving two cars in North Palm Springs.
According to the California Highway Patrol the crash happened just after 11a.m. Sunday morning along Highway 62 near Dillion Road.
Northbound lanes of the highway were temporarily blocked as fire crews rescued one person that became stuck in their car.
Paramedics transported in total eight people with injuries. Two people were critical. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
