Wild Coyote Captured in Residential Palm Desert Neighborhood
PALM DESERT - In a quiet palm desert neighborhood, a wild coyote is captured after it was seen roaming around Clifford Street Wednesday afternoon.
A concerned homeowner called police because there were children playing in the area at the time. The large coyote was hanging out in the front yard of the concerned Palm Desert resident's home and in the street.
Animal Control officers helped capture the wild animal without hurting it. The coyote will be released back into the wild.
If you see a coyote or other wild animals in your neighborhood, Animal Control officers say you should stay away from them and contact animal control.
