NEAR DESERT HOT SPRINGS - Sunday night traffic was slowed on Palm Drive after a car struck and killed a horse.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Palm Drive and 20th Avenue.
The car that hit the horse did stop and called 9-1-1.
Luckily, no one was riding the horse at the time of the crash.
