PALM DESERT - The Certified Farmers' Market is educating students about eating right.
Students from Peter Pendelton Elementary in Coachella paid a visit to the Certified Farmers' Market in Palm Desert.
Students got a lesson about the rich variety of locally grown produce and products that are available to them and the importance of sustainable agriculture in our communities.
The Kaiser Foundation has joined with the Certified Farmers' Market to make this program possible.
