Horse Quarantine Extended
INDIO - The horse quarantine has been extended in the east valley, Monday.
You may recall, a horse at the Empire Polo Club tested positive for equine herpes last month. As a result, horses at the club and nearby El Dorado Polo Club were placed under a 21 day quarantine.
The quarantine was extended after another horse was found sick the horse was found with a fever and swollen back legs at the Empire Polo Club.
Test results are expected sometime Tuesday.
