Designer Fashion Donated for Desert AIDS Project

PALM DESERT - An interior designer has willed her extensive collection of designer clothing to Revivals, the thrift store that benefits client services at the Desert AIDS Project.
The store is keeping the late Sheila Greenrock's collection under wraps at the Palm Desert store in the Costco center until 4 p.m. today, when it will be unveiled.
Labels including Escada, Karl Lagerfeld, Armani, Donna Karan, Michaek Kors and WORTH and others are sure to attract desert fashionistas, says store manager Jim Erickson. He expects a crowd and the store will stay open an extra hour, until 7 p.m. Sale proceeds will be split 50-50 between Revivals and Greenrock's estate.
The collection includes suits, blazers, skirts, sweaters, pants, shoes and scarves and other accessories.

Greenrock was living in Sun City Palm Desert when she died earlier this year.
The designer, whose midcentury modern and traditional work was centered in Beverly Hills, turned one bedroom into a closet to house her extensive collection.
The timing of her bequest is fortuitous for Revivals. It will launch the store's new designer clothing consignment department.
