Day 2 of the Kraft Nabisco Championship
RANCHO MIRAGE--The second day of tournament play at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
The top women in golf teed off for day 2 of the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Yani Tseng is in the clubhouse with the lead.
"Seeing the girls that I've watched on tv for years and years and seeing them up close and personal it's just really awesome to be here," said fan Al Cunningham.
On the fourth hole Tseng hit a nice approach shot to within 5 ft of the hole, but missed the birdie putt, staying 7 under par.
"The play has been incredible we have some incredible leaders that have been well Tseng for the past couple of days now," said golf fan Darlene Harwick.
Thousands of fans in attendance, walking the course following their favorite LPGA players.
"It's amazing to me how they can hit, how athletic they are how fit they are cute they are their styles and everything so it's fun to watch," said golf fan Evelyn Grass.
Many fans coming to see desert favorite Michelle Wie, but Wie was a bit off her game friday, at the 7th she missed a short par putt and dropped to 6 over par, a miss that clearly upset the young player.
"I know there's a lot of pressure on past winners and it's just amazing to see them out here and deal with all that so may the best player win," said golf fan Lori Ogren.
Still most fans I spoke with are routing for defending champ Stacy Lewis, hoping she'll get another chance to take the famous leap into Poppies Pond.
