Surveillance Photos of Bank Robber Released
RANCHO MIRAGE - Police are giving the public a closer look at a man who robbed a bank in Rancho Mirage.
The Chase Bank inside an Albertsons' at Monterey Avenue and Country Club Drive was robbed about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say a white male adult used a note to demand money from the bank teller.
"Shortly thereafter, the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money," said police. Nobody was injured and no weapon was seen.
The suspect is further described as thin, approximately 6'-00" tall, wearing a tan-colored fedora hat, a bandage over the bridge of his nose, sunglasses, dark-colored long sleeve shirt, tan shorts and black shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 760-341-STOP. Tips can remain anonymous and may lead to a cash reward.
