Fewer Foreclosures Reported Across Coachella Valley
PALM DESERT - Good news in the housing market as real estate foreclosures are falling across the Coachella Valley. There were 992 foreclosures in the valley in March 2012, that's 25 percent lower than the same time last year. Tracking firm Realty-Trac says foreclosure rates have fallen by double digits in 9 of the past 10 months. Realtors say competition for foreclosed homes is stiff with some homes receiving multiple offers.
