Palm Desert Traffic Alert
PALM DESERT - Drivers can expect delays Thursday and Friday on a stretch of Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert.
Workers will be slurry sealing Monterey Avenue in both directions between Highway 111 and Fred Waring Drive.
Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
Major delays are expected.
If possible, drivers should use alternate routes, such as Portola Avenue or Bob Hope Drive.
