PALM SPRINGS-- A paraglider is still in the hospital, after crashing into power lines five weeks ago.

Paul Harrison almost died when a gust of wind blew him into power lines over a field in Indio.

As Harrison recovers, local Artist Kenny Irwin, created a beautiful work of art with what's left of Harrison's paraglider. Thanks to technology, Harrison was able to take part in the unveiling from his hospital bed.

"He survived but he has 2 badly broken legs, broken back, broken heels, and broken ribs," says sunny harrison

Harrison still has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but says he absolutely loves this work of art, and is very grateful to Irwin.
