RANCHO MIRAGE - Firefighters have contained a two-alarm blaze that destroyed a Rancho Mirage home Wedneaday evening.
The fire started just before 5 p.m. at a home on Rancho Mirage Lane.
The blaze started in a garage and quickly grew engulfing the home.
The fire knocked down nearby utility lines and destroyed two vehicles and a travel trailer.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.
No word on what may have caused the fire.
