DESERT HOT SPRINGS--She was found dead in the middle of Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs early Monday morning. Now the family of 16 year-old Zia Hoyos is speaking out exclusively to KMIR 6 news.
It's been a tough week for the family of Zia Hoyos. Her body was found just before 2a.m. along north Gene Autry Trail and Via Escuela.
Zia's exact cause of death has not been released. Anyone who may have seen Zia Sunday night or early Monday morning is asked to call Palm Springs Police. This is an active investigation and police hope someone comes forward with information.
