Deadly Three Vehicle Crash in Thermal
THERMAL - Police are investigating a deadly three vehicle collision in Thermal.
The crash happened at 3 p.m. Tuesday along Avenue 62 and Highway 111.
CalFire firefighters arrived just minutes after the collision - and had to free one person from their mangled vehicle.
That person died on scene according to CalFire.
Another person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
No word on what caused the collision.
The California Highway Patrol has shutdown the intersection until the investigation is complete.
