Watch Transit of Venus Today
WORLDWIDE - The Transit of venus, it's when the planet Venus crosses over the face of the sun.
Starting at 3PM this afternoon here in the valley - the transit will be visible.
Remember that it's important not to stare directly at the sun without the proper protective gear.
Doing so could cause serious eye damage. The next transit won't occur until 2117.
You can watch the Transit of Venus at the Joshua Tree National Park today at the Oasis Visitor Center, 74485 National Park Drive.
