CATHEDRAL CITY - The WBO Welterweight champion of the world received a hero's welcome Saturday evening in Cathedral City. Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley and his boxing team were celebrated by hundreds of fans in front of City Hall.
Bradley's recent victory against Manny Pacquiao has caused a whirlwind of debate in the boxing world, after some questions were raised over the judges 2-1 card ruling. The WBO says it is reviewing the fight.
Regardless of the controversy, Bradley and his Coachella Valley fans are celebrating his victory in style. A week after the big win, Bradley is taking it easy in the valley recovering from injuries. He expects to be back in the ring, training again in about two months.
