Police Investigate Stabbing in Coachella
COACHELLA - Police in Coachella are seeking a suspect in a stabbing.
Shortly before Noon Friday, officers from the Coachella Police Department responded to the 86700 block of Naomi Court to a report of unknown trouble. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim on the ground with a stab wound to his upper body. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
Police say the suspect is described as an adult Hispanic male, approximately 25-30 years old, about 5'6" to 5'8" tall and wearing a tan shirt and unknown-color pants. Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies from the Thermal Station responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. This is an on-going investigation and no further details are available at this time.
