4 People Wounded in Early Morning Shooting
CATHEDRAL CITY - Four people, two women and two men, were injured in a shooting incident early Saturday morning. None of the injuries were life threatening, according to Cathedral City Police investigators.
The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. in the area of the 31500 block of El Toro Road. Officers responded to several 911 calls advising of gunshots heard in the area. Upon arrival, police learned that the four victims had already been taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in personal vehicles.
At the hospital investigators found two adult females and two adult males being treated for non-life threating gunshot wounds. All victims were Cathedral City Residents.
The suspect vehicle was described as a black Ford F-150 with chrome rims. No other suspect information was provided.
