From methanol-laced alcohol to watered-down milk spiked with melamine, counterfeit foods and ingredients are a huge problem for investigators who admit it’s tough to keep up with the criminals behind these scams.
Investigators say tomato fraud is on the rise. Criminals are trying to pass household tomatoes off as the more expensive heirloom varieties. Consumer beware!
