PALM DESERT - Police now say they are looking for the same suspect in at least four recent business robberies in the Coachella Valley.

The four businesses were hit between June 22 and July 5, two in La Quinta and two in the unincorporated area of Bermuda Dunes. All four robberies are believed to be related, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say in each of the four robberies, a single male suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect fled the location on foot and was seen leaving the area in a white 1990's model four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota or Lexus driven by another male. Nobody was injured during any of the robberies.

Police say the suspect is described as a white male, 20-25 years-old, about 5'9" to 6' tall with a thin build and brown hair. The driver of the vehicle was only described as a male adult.

The robberies occurred at the following locations:

Dairy Queen, 41-800 Washington Street, Bermuda Dunes (on 06/22/2012)

Cold Stone Creamery, 78-370 Highway 111, La Quinta (on 07/04/2012)

Teddy's Donuts, 40-100 Washington Street, Bermuda Dunes (on 07/05/2012)

China Joes 78-550 Highway 111, La Quinta (on 07/05/2012)

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Investigator Andy Martinez from the Thermal Sheriff's Station Investigations Bureau at 760-863-8305 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (760) 341-STOP.
