Firefighters Quickly Knock Down Blazing Garage Fire
DESERT HOT SPRINGS - A couple dozen Riverside County Firefighters responded quickly late Tuesday morning to a report of a structure fire in Desert Hot Springs.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a garage and a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
The fire report came in about 11:35 a.m. from an apartment complex at 13718 Luis Drive. Firefighters were able to control the fire and have it contained within 15 minutes, according to information released by CalFire.
There are no reports of injuries. Firefighters temporarily closed Luis Drive at Ironwood while battling the blaze.
Fire investigators say the blaze broke out inside the garage. No word yet on what sparked the fire.
