PALM SPRINGS - Pop star diva Kristine W will be heating up the dancefloor this weekend in Palm Springs for charity close to her heart. She will be performing at the "Midsummer Dance Party" Friday night at the Ace Hotel.
The event is a fundraiser fot the Desert AIDS Project. Kristine W tells KMIR6 she's a long time supporter of the gay community and is excited to be back here in the Coachella Valley to perform at this fun event.
Kristine W will be peforming her latest single, a jazz version of the disco classic "On The Radio", the song pays homage to the late disco legend Donna Summer.
Kristine W currently has 16 number one Billboard Dance Chart hits, tying Mariah Carey for most consecutive number one club play hits.
Tickets to the "Midsummer Dance Party" are available at the Ace Hotel.
