Traffic Alert: Indio Freeway Closures
INDIO - The City of Indio has contracted with Granite Construction of Indio to construct improvements at the Interstate 10 / Monroe Street Interchange.
As part of the ongoing construction, the eastbound off ramp at Monroe Street will be closed starting at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning, July 23, 2012 and will be re-opened at 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, July 27, 2012.
Eastbound motorists that normally exit at the Monroe Street exit should exit at either Jefferson Street or Jackson Street.
The project is 25% funded by the City of Indio, and 75% funded by the Coachella Valley Association of Governments.
Motorists may experience delays when driving on Monroe Street at Interstate 10.
