Flash Flooding Causing Closures Along SR 62, 177
TWENTYNINE PALMS - Two roads connecting Twentynine Palms to I-10 are closed due to flash flooding, according to Caltrans Spokeswoman Terri Kasinga.
Weather related problems along Box Canyon between I-10 and Mecca are also being reported. Emergency crews are working to clear mud and sand covering the roadway.
SR 62 is closed from Godwin (post mile 40.2) past SR 177 (post mile 84.9) to Route 95, according to Caltrans. SR 177 is also closed from I-10 to SR 62.
