Woman Found Dead in Motel Room, Boyfriend Missing
PERRIS - The body of a missing woman was discovered Wednesday inside a motel room in Poway.
Investigators from the Perris Sheriff's Station were called to the motel room around 2 p.m. where the dead body of 47 year old Christine Stewart was found.
"It appeared she had been murdered elsewhere and transported to the motel where her body was found" said police.
Christine was last seen with her boyfriend, 27 year old Joseph Dorsey, of Lake Elsinore on Saturday, August 4th.
Investigators are currently looking for Dorsey, who is a missing person and also a person of interest. He was last seen driving a 2003 Ford Explorer with California license plate 6UDY773. The vehicle is dark blue with a grey primered hood and front fender.
At this time, no arrests have been made, and this is an active and ongoing investigation.
