DESERT HOT SPRINGS - Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with an attempted murder earlier this summer.
The shooting happened back on July 1 on Buena Vista avenue. The victim told police she was riding in a car with five people including a child when the suspect opened fire. She was shot in the face.
Detectives used surveillance video to help locate the alleged shooter. He had apparently moved to Oregon following the shooting. Javon Davis was found at a home in Klamath county last week and was taken into custody.
He is awaiting extradition back to the Coachella Valley where he faces attempted murder charges.
