PALM SPRINGS- Hundreds of Marines will need rides to the airport this upcoming labor day weekend and getting a taxi is too expensive for many.  A local non-profit-- SOS-- offers free rides to service members. But they say they need more volunteers and donations for the hundreds of rides they expect to provide in the upcoming holiday.

"It doesn't matter how many volunteers we have if we don't have the funds to keep the insurance and the maintence and the gas and the phones on, there would be no SOS," said Erica Stone, the non-profit's founder.

To learn how you can donate and volunteer, visit the SOS website at http://www.sosride.org/.
