PALM DESERT - If you're a kid who loves animals, and would like to see your face plastered on billboards across the Coachella Valley, here's your chance.
The Living Desert is looking for a few lucky kids to be part of its first "Zoo Cool Crew." The Living Desert is hosting a contest, giving kids the chance to win a spot on the zoo's billboards, brochures and special advertising.
The contest invites Coachella Valley residents, ages 4 through 12, to submit a photo of themselves and a short statement describing what the Living Desert means to them. Ten girls and ten boys will be selected.
Submissions are being accepted now until October 15th.
