Armed Robbery, Suspects Wanted
CATHEDRAL CITY - Circle K on Cathedral Canyon drive was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
Police say two men entered the store, one had a gun and demanded money from an employee. The pair then took off with some cash. No one was hurt.
One suspect was a black man 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, wearing a light-green bandanna over his face, a black or gray baseball cap, a black long-sleeved, zip-up hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, gray jeans, white tennis shoes and blue latex gloves. The other suspect was a Hispanic man 18 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, wearing a blue bandanna over his face, a blue long-sleeved, zip-up hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt and black tennis shoes.
On Wednesday an adult book store was robbed at gunpoint just a few blocks away from this morning's robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cathedral City police or Crimestoppers at 760-341-STOP. Your call will remain anonymous and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
