Eisenhower Medical Staff Tickled Pink With Their Glove Dance
RANCHO MIRAGE - Pink gloves go viral to help raise awareness for breast cancer. The staff at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage donned pink surgical gloves, waved their hands and kicked up their heels to film the hospital's final scene of its pink glove dance video.
The video will be entered into Medline's second annual pink glove dance video competition. The competition is a nationwide contest with the sole purpose to alert the public on the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
The dance was initially created by Medline, the nation's largest private manufacturer of medical and surgical supplies, and placed on Youtube in 2010. Since then, the video has generated more than 13 million views.
