Undercover FBI Agents Give Man Fake Bomb
CHICAGO - FBI agents have arrested a man they say tried to blow up a bar in downtown Chicago.
Prosecutors have not revealed the name of the bar that was the target.
18-year-old Adel Daoud was arrested Friday night in an undercover operation. Agents pretending to be extremists gave daoud a phony car bomb and arrested him after they say he tried to detonate it.
Daoud is a US citizen and is from the Chicago suburb of Hillside. He's been charged with trying to use a weapon of mass destruction and trying to damage and destroy a building with an explosive.
