Two suspects are in jail after police say they stole a car, crashed it during a police pursuit and ran from officers.
This is the second pursuit this week in the same area of Coachella -- in this chase the car crashed at Suncrest Street and Westerfield Drive.
And some residents worry that crime is growing in their neighborhood.

Officers search by ground and air for the passenger in this stolen vehicle, they found him hiding by a shed.
"It's kind of scary because like I told you the other day, like two days on the other side of the block, it was blocked the same way," said Coachella resident, Elizabeth Villarreal.
On Tuesday, a police officer had to open fire on a burglary suspect who stole the officers cruiser.
That burglar was caught a short time later.
"Lately we've been hearing a lot of gunshots so it's kind of scary to think that it could be her, or it could be my little brother or it could be any other little kid," said Villarreal.
Thursday's case started when a car was stolen in the morning -- later in the afternoon...
"The owner of the vehicle saw the vehicle leaving the city of Indio, entering the city of Coachella, in that direction, notified Indio Police that he had found his vehicle, Indio police officers and our special enforcement team happened to be near the area," said Ben Guitron with the Indio Police Department.
Indio police spotted the car, and after a short chase the suspects crashed into another car.
The driver fled, but was quickly arrested.
Police say the passenger ran away carrying a handgun, they found him after a short search.
"He was believed to be armed with a handgun, but unfortunately at the time that we did arrest him, we didn't see any signs, we did check the areas where we felt the suspect had been, prior to him being arrested," said Guitron.
Residents hope this isn't a sign of increasing crime.
"You know it's scary, but I hope not, it's been a really quiet neighborhood ever since I moved in here, so I'm hoping its just two random acts and that will just be it," said Coachella resident, Vanessa Ramirez.
Elizabeth says there has been more vandalism and burglaries in the neighborhood.
"I was one of the ones where they broke in, so I mean there's a lot of kids, I think the cops should just drive around keep more eyes open, you hardly ever see any cops here in Coachella," said Villarreal.
Indio Police say the men will face charges related to possession of a stolen vehicle, evading arrest and for the chase.
