CATHEDRAL CITY-- A shooting in Cathedral City leaves two people behind bars, and some dream home residents in fear.

Around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday on San Gabriel Circle, two people in a car pulled up to man walking and demanded his money at gunpoint. The man began running when one of the suspects got out the car and began firing. The man was able to flee uninjured.

Later that night police found that car and arrested 33-year-old Frederico Garza and his driver 30-year-old Ester Lozano. Garza was booked on suspicion of attempted murder. Lozano was arrested for being an accessory.

Upon investigation, police found 17 weapons in Garza's home, as well as a large amount of ammunition.

They were all seized. It turns out one of the weapons was the one used at the shooting.

Although Garza has been involved in gang activity, police say this particular incident was not gang-related.
