COACHELLA VALLEY - Viewers like you told us to investigate some deadly intersections and roads and what city officials are doing to keep drivers safe.

Varner Road and Mountain View connecting Cathedral City to Desert Hot Springs has seen it's fair share of fatal crashes. People using that road have complained of potholes, two lanes of traffic and because of the it's location to the Edom Hill Transfer Station, drivers complain of long commutes and say four lanes of traffic would be ideal. KMIR6 investigated and now Cathedral City is taking steps to make it safer by filling in those pesky potholes.

And in Thermal a four-way stop at Grapefruit Blvd. and Avenue 62 has become the sight of grief for some, as  a number of fatal car wrecks have prompted the city to put up flashing lights to keep drivers safe.
