Gas Prices Jump
MARINA DEL RAY - Some gas stations in Southern California are beginning to run out of gas.
This Costco station in Marina Del Ray ran out of gas on Wednesday and customers were directed to another Costco in a nearby town. Some gas stations in the region have stopped buying gasoline on the wholesale market to fill their underground reserves, due to the skyrocketing price.
Prices have gone up after Chevron and Mobil refinery supply problems have hit the region. The average cost of gas in the state is $4.315, which is up eight cents since Wednesday and up 18 cents from last week.
