PALM SPRINGS - Hundreds of Coachella Valley runners and walkers are preparing for a big challenge, the 27th Annual Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge 6K Run/Walk. The event this year also falls on National Make A Difference Day, a nation-wide campaign to encourage people to help others started by USA Today and Gannett, the parent company of The Desert Sun.

KMIR6 is proud to partner with the Desert Sun and Klein Clark Sports this year to help promote The Desert Sun's Make A Difference Day Tram Road Challenge which will benefit United Way of the Desert and dozens of area charities.
