PALM DESERT - Local non-profit Desert Arc received a $25,000 grant from Walmart Monday.
Store managers, community leaders and the Mayor of Indio were all present to give the check to Desert Arc's Pathways to Employment program which supports workforce development and economic opportunity for people with developmental disabilities.
Desert Arc also provides training, technical assistance, job assessment and other job services.
