Packing on New Travel Fees
Paying to print your boarding pass? Being charged for a speed pass in your rental car, even if you never use it? Coughing up cash for your children to watch regular kids' TV in your hotel room? These are just a few of the new fees popping up for travelers these days.
Passengers and guests who feel nickel and dimed to death say enough is enough, but the travel industry explains it has costs to cover, too. The industry argues those little things you're asked to pay extra for are a take 'em or leave' em option intended to actually save you money.
