Runners hit the pavement and braved rainy skies for the Inland Empire's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
More than ten thousand people came out for the event, including about 500 breast cancer survivors.
"Everybody has been touch by cancer in some way..so to see all these people supporting it just makes the awareness and makes you feel better as a survivor that people care," said Faith Feldman, a breast cancer survivor diagnosed two years ago.
The 5K raised about $600,000 dollars. Seventy five percent of the money will go to fund treatment in the Inland Empire and 25 percent will go toward research.
