  • Coachella Valley celebrities and community leaders are practicing their dance moves for an upcoming charity event called Dancing With The Desert Stars, benefiting Desert AIDS Project and an organization called 100 Women. Video by kmir6.com

PALM SPRINGS - A friendly competition is burning up local dance floors as area personalities and their professional dance parterns prepare for Dancing With The Desert Stars. The fun-filled evening of dancing and music benefits Desert AIDS Project and an organization called 100 Women which provides funding for necessary medical care and other services to Coachella Valley women and children impacted by HIV and AIDS.

Who will win the mirror ball trophy at the 2nd Annual Dancing with the Desert Stars at the Renaissance Palm Springs on November 16th is a question still lingering on the dance floor. The doors open at 6:00 P.M., the dance competition begins at 7:30 P.M.
