COACHELLA-- With the election just five days away, local voters have a number of important races and propositions to decide on. One of the big ones is Proposition 30. That's Governor Jerry Brown's tax initiative to help fund education.

Prop 30's biggest threat is Proposition 38, which is an initiative that would send more money to public schools by sharing the tax burden with all residents. If both pass, the one with the most votes will take effect.
But a new field poll just released says support for Prop 30 has fallen below the majority needed for passage.
It's fate appears to be resting in the hands of undecided voters.
