PALM SPRINGS - About 25 dogs from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter were flown to a rescue in Sun Valley, Arizona Friday morning as part of a program called Wings of Rescue.
The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is part of a network of shelters that share pets available for adoption. When one shelter reaches capacity, they look for other shelters nearby that have space and will continue to work to find homes for the animals.
