RANCHO MIRAGE--The Annenberg Estate at Sunnylands is committed to helping politicians and dignitaries from across the globe advance the political process.

Now under the leadership of Congressman David Dreier Sunnylands is reaffirming it's mission and purpose, bringing together world leaders here in the Coachella Valley, fostering peace in the Greater Pacific.

It's called the Camp David of the West, a place for politicians and senior level officials to talk business and collaborate on key policy issues. A mission the Annenberg's started decades ago, that's now being carried out by a new generation of leaders.

"I know our parents would be very proud of today, this is what they wanted to go on at Sunnylands," The Annenberg Family said.

The mission has always been peace, encouraging diplomacy, promoting collaboration in key policy areas and focusing on enhancing the relationship between Asia and the Americas and the rest of the Greater Pacific.

"The idea of having Sunnylands as a western Camp David for the President of the United States, the Secretary of State, the Supreme Court, congressional leaders and others to spend time here, i think our commission is going to be helping to support the overall vision that Sunnylands has," David Dreier, Chairman of the Annenberg-Dreier Commission said.

Now Congressman Dreier is at the helm, leading the Annenberg-Drier commission at Sunnylands, fulfilling the dream Walter and Leonore Annenberg set out to accomplish so many years ago.

Bringing community and political leaders together to strengthen ties among countries throughout the pacific.
