Nesquik Recall
NATIONWIDE - A possible salmonella contamination prompts Nestle to recall some of its Nesquik chocolate powder.
The company is recalling the 10.9, 21.8 and 40.7 ounce canisters of the drink mix. Nestle was notified by an ingredient supplier that it had issued a recall on an ingredient that's used in Nesquik. There are no reports of illnesses associated with the affected products. The recall is limited to only the chocolate powder that was produced in early October.
Consumers should check the production code on the bottom of the canister, next to the expiration date. All effected products have an expiration date of best before October 2012.
Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
