PALM DESERT - Monday night tickets went on sale for the highly anticipated Integrated Wealth Management Fashion Week El Paseo 2013.
This year the fashion trends aren't the only thing changing. Integrated Wealth Management will be the presenting sponsor. Jim Casey along with Palm Springs Life magazine Fashion Editor Susan Stein held a mixer to announce just some of this years designers.
2013 designers include:
Gilbert Chagoury: Designer of the Week 2013
Gilbert A. Chagoury is an independent couturier who was born in Lebanon and raised in Paris. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, which he attended in both Paris and New York, he began his illustrious career at the legendary Christian Dior in Paris.
Sue Wong
Sue Wong is a study in contrasts. She appears petite, yet possesses a commanding presence and grand energy that fills an entire room. While there is power and strength in her designs, there is a romantic fantasy and poetic lyricism that informs her work, which nonetheless remain rooted in undeniable pragmatic reality.
Katharine Polk
During the 2012 Fall/Winter Fashion Week at New York’s Lincoln Center, Polk debuted her first RTW collection as HOUGHTON’s head designer. Drawing inspiration from Katharine Hepburn, Bianca Jagger and Patti Smith, Polk designs for the independent woman who desires a look that is effortlessly chic yet sexy and strong.
