PALM DESERT-- It's one of the Coachella Valley's most anticipated holiday extravaganzas. The 20th annual Wildlights at The Living Desert kicked off Wednesday evening. More than 750-thousand lights lit up The Living Desert, and with the flip of a switch, the place was turned into a winter wonderland.
Hundreds strolled through to get a glimpse of the light displays. This year's theme is "Holidays Around the World." In addition to the beautiful light displays, this year's event features camel rides, a carousel, the wildlife wonders show and a visit from santa claus on Friday.
If you'd like to go, the show will continue until December 31st on various days, from 6- 9pm. Adult tickets are $10. Members, children, and military are $8.
