Man Arrested in Homicide
THERMAL - Wednesday night Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies arrest a man on homicide charges.
Around 11:30 a.m. Deputies were called to an unknown trouble call on the 85000 block of Middleton Street. When officials arrived to the home they determined the Hispanic woman inside had been the victim of brutal physical assault.
Deputies later arrested 32-year-old Raul Sanchez Jr. of Thermal on homicide charges.
Due to the circumstance, Thermal Station investigators and investigators from the Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
Details of this case are still developing and no further information is available at this time. The identification of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
