Suspicious Death

Riverside County Sheriff's investigators have confirmed that human remains were found in the area of Thousand Palms and Dillon roads.
The remains were found by some hikers around 2 p.m. Monday in a ravine.
Investigators are calling this a suspicious death. The cause of death is unknown at this time - but an autopsy is pending. Keep it with KMIR6 for the latest on this investigation.
