Riverside County Deputies and the Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a high-visibility sweep on Thursday, netting 22 people in the process. The focus of the sweeps were Coachella, Thermal and unincorporated areas with a noticiable gang presence.
Ages of those arrested range from 18 to 50, and most of the arrests were for possession of controlled substances or probation violations. All were booked into County Jail in Indio.
