BERMUDA DUNES - An early morning attic fire in Bermuda Dunes has left four people without a home heading into 2013.
The fire in the 78-500 block of Avenue 42 happened just after midnight, with first responders reporting smoke coming from the exterior. The fire in the four-plex was contained with 30 minutes.
The four people - two adults and two children - were left homeless by the fire.
The cause is under investigation
